Odorous House Ant
Dark reddish brown to black -1/10” 2.5mm. Found through out the US more often in the west. Nests outdoors or in house foundations. It is a frequent invader, but fortunately does not sting. The Argentine Ant is replacing it. Smell like rotten coconut when crushed.
