Thief Ants

Thief AntYellowish to red - 1/32 to 1/16" 0.8 to 1.5mm. Found through out the US. Builds nests indoors in cracks and in cupboards. Feeds on larvae and food taken from other nests when outdoors - inside eats protein and grease and rarely sweets. Stings very infrequently.
